Here's an official essay.
I'd like to tell you my thesis. Would you like to know it? If yes, here it is: I don't believe they could do many of the things listed in the article.
I'll bet you'd like a supporting detail: Intelligence and body strength are conditional. Explanation: The amount of a developing child's body and mind that is used; the more capability the child will have mentally and physically in its future.
Outside of conventional essay format, the only thing that could be designed would be appearance. We could make possibly taller or shorter children and remove most genetic diseases from existence, but this would ultimately remove any form of... natural natural selection. The richer would be able to pay for more pretty, healthy babies than the poor, so the poor would become disease-ridden and undesirable. The richer would likely divide themselves based upon what they believe personally to be attractive and we would have some lovely divisions in classes.
But... that is just some sort of cynical, apocalyptic perspective on this whole thing...
