Christmas Break Project
I disagree slightly with Ms. Zipp's approval of purchasing cards, but whatever.
For those not taking the easy way out, here is a really simple website:
http://www.apstudent.com/ushistory/cards.php
Cat already posted it, but it's very awesome indeed!
Very many & detailed notecards...Would probably help
Paying 16 dollars for something won't help you. I know you may use them eventually, but the hands on aspect of actually creating flashcards is the most worthwhile part. For example, in AcaDeca I outline tons of pages of text, but I rarely ever look at the outlines again. It's actually making the outline that helps me remember it foreverzzzzzzz
I'm done bitching now

Re: Christmas Break Project
While I agree that buying the cards is useless, I need the grade, by God

It will if you have little to no time over Christmas break to actually make the flash cards..

The only way that buying the flash cards will help us is by giving us a good grade on the Winter Break "project".
I understand what you're trying to say, Steven. Buying the flash cards will not be beneficial in the long run. Because when you look for things, read about them, and do something with them, you are more bound to processing them more efficiently rather than buying a box of cards that you may or may not use.
I think I am going to buy the cards and sticky note them, adding my personal thoughts and other significant information pertaining to each individual card. I may occasionally write on the card itself, or even add cards.[8
Hooray for defacing things!

"350. Chesapeake-Leopard Affair
1807 - The American ship Chesapeake refused to allow the British on the Leopard to board to look for deserters. In response, the Leopard fired on the Chesapeake. As a result of the incident, the U.S. expelled all British ships from its waters until Britain issued an apology. They surrendered the colony to the English on Sept. 8, 1664."
Something's not right here...
