Last-Minute Civil War thoughts?
With the unit test only a few days away, I figured a topic about it here (not that anybody ever goes here lololol).
I have a feeling this test is going to be 99% causes and effects of the Civil War, and 1% battles and what have you. But that's just a guestimation.
What would you guys consider to be the essential material to study the next couple of days? I would say Reconstruction would be a definite biggy, including the Civil War Amendments, the whole Executive v. Legislative Recon. plans, etc. Also, I foresee Grant coming in there quite a bit, as well as Boss Tweed (even though neither had much of anything to do with the Civil War). Then, she may throw a curveball and go back to the beginning for her focus (Douglas debates, the Republican Party, etc.).
Thoughts? Opinions?

I think you pretty much have it covered. I think she might throw some pre-war stuff our way, so we should all go back and review all of that. Just know your people, and know your parties....and most importantly, know your party people.

I would hit the major battles, and I would definitely brush up on the Anaconda Plan. But I have a feeling the Civil War itself isn't as important to Zipp as the causes/effects of it.
And definitely the Emancipation Proclamation, too.

Good call.
So test was easy right?
I'm a little biased on this subject, but it seemed relatively simple
